Flashback Classic Clod

Flashback Classic Clod

Chris tells us he spent 3 years scouring eBay, Craigslist and Facebook to collect vintage parts to put together this build. He started with some near mint CCP gearboxes and stuffed them with new gears and bearings. The axle tubes, ladder bars and brackets, knuckles, and anti-rotation brackets are all vintage CCP parts as well and he looked to Trinity for a mint set of Matched Madness motors and eight of their blue-anodized shocks. He bolted all that classic hardware to a vintage Sassy Chassis that he sent out to get chrome plated and added a set of JPS wheels wrapped in Duratrax diamond-spiked tires. The vintage Clodbuster body Chris had in my parts collection, and gave it to Jay at Quik Draw Designs along with some photos of the Santini Supra. Five months later he had the body as you see it—all painted by hand using House of Kolor paints. All that was left was to bolt it all together!
