  1. After recently loosing my right arm in a motorbike accident i haven’t been able to use my rc’s this is so simple and cheap it will get me back into the game easily. Great idea. I had come up with a similar idea of something that clamped around outside of wheel with a piece coming off that hugged either side of my thumb, but I would of needed someone to make up the bits for me.

    1. Kurt, I lost the use of my left arm and hand in a motorcycle accident as well. I’ve been rolling the steering wheel with my thumb on various transmitters, set up for both left or right handed, for many years. I put whichever other finger works best on the throttle trigger. my method changes based on ergonomics of the transmitter at the time. I may try Pete’s adaptation out, but it may need TX settings to get full steering throw. I’d like to mount a throttle trigger directly to the steering wheel, but never got around to it. Glad to hear you’re not giving up on RC.

  2. I’ll have to try this. A brain tumor left my hand/arm severely damaged and i cant wait to try this out!

  3. I’ve lost my left hand in a firework accident can’t wait to try this
