Traxxas “BackSlush” by Scott Oney [Reader’s Ride]

Traxxas “BackSlush” by Scott Oney [Reader’s Ride]

Scott Oney is a Traxxas fan, and hailing from Spirit Lake, ID he knows a bit about snow. He decided to combine the two into the ground-up build you see before you, which Scott has dubbed the BackSlush! Originally (and, we assume, before he named it!) the project was started using a Traxxas Rustler chassis, but Scott upgraded to a Slash LCG. To that he added a Full Force RC Ski Kit, a Castle Creations 3800 4-pole SCT system running through an RPM transmission to ProLine Sand Paw tires mounted on Desperado wheels. An Associated Electrics 8.2e body keeps the snow out of the running gear, topped by a Losi Twn-T wing and an Axial light kit. Scott controls it all using Spektrum DX3R radio.
