Southwest Monster Shop KK2 “Yeti” Monster Truck [READER’S RIDE]

Southwest Monster Shop KK2 “Yeti” Monster Truck [READER’S RIDE]

We see a lot of vehicles with the name “Yeti” attached to them, but none quite like Kevin Adair’s custom scale monster truck. And we mean monster! He started with a KK2 chassis that he powder-coated blue. He uses an all-metal AX10 transmission with freestyle axles and swaybars connected to mounts that Kevin fabricated himself. The shocks are Pro-Line Pro Spec units and the power system is all LRP—a Flow Works Team speed control with a Dynamic 10 4800kV motor. The result is a completely unique monster truck with an appropriate theme for winter bashing near his Rhode Island home.
