Custom-built Cherokee Chief by Anthony Rivas [Reader’s Ride]

Custom-built Cherokee Chief by Anthony Rivas [Reader’s Ride]

Look quick and this Jeep Cherokee Chief could easily be mistaken for a full-size rig. But Anthony Rivas—of Rivas Concepts in Las Vegas, NV— custom-welded his own tube chassis to fit ProLine’s Cherokee body, then decked it out to replicate the ultimate trail-rated Jeep! He did his own stripes and Cherokee Chief logos and installed a detailed ProLine interior. He added Tamiya YJ headlight buckets and RC4WD Light Force lighting. RC4WD also supplied the Warn winch and universal snorkel, which Anthony modded to fit the Cherokee body. The roof rack is from ProLine, and Anthony added diamond plate styrene for rear armor. Rolling stock is comprised of Mayhem Engineering 1.9 Slammerz wheels with ProLine Super Swampers all around. Power comes from an Axial motor and AE-5 controller, while a Tactical servo handles steering.
