JConcepts would like to announce the signing of Dakotah Phend to the world wide race team for 2020 and beyond. The flagship TLR driver has been racing since 5 years of age and has blossomed into one of the fastest overall drivers in the world. The multi-time ROAR National champion, Reedy International Race of Champions winner and current vice champion at the 2019 IFMAR World Championships in the 4wd class has set his sights on a banner year in 2020. Dakotah plans to make his JConcepts racing debut at the CRCRC Winter Midwest Championships in Jeffersonville, Ohio, on January 8-12, 2020.
Watch a conversation with Dakotah Phend to learn more about driving with JConcepts tires and tuning between new compounds Silver and Aqua at RC Clubhouse in Warren, Michigan. During the video a chat between Jason Ruona and Dakotah discuss cutting and detailing bodies along with new sneak peeks of F2 body (#0414) for the TLR 22X-4, new P1 body (#0421) for the 8ight-X nitro buggy and new F2I wing (#2800) for 1/8th buggy racing in the 2020 season.
Jason Ruona states – “I’ve followed Dakotah’s RC career from the beginning and it’s been impressive to see what he can do in all forms of RC competition. As one of the most experienced and youngest drivers in the sport, it provides us with another driver capable of showing the upper limits of performance and what the JConcepts product is capable of. We are excited for the 2020 season and beyond.”
Dakotah Phend states – “I am very excited to be joining the JConcepts team for 2020 and beyond! Jason, Allison, and the whole crew are extremely dedicated to not only winning but improving and growing the industry that all of us enjoy. I’m looking forward to a lot of success with them!”
