The latest entry into Axial’s 1/24-scale SCX24 series is a licensed Dodge Power Wagon. This rock crawler may sport classic looks, but don’t let its stylish looks fool you—it’s packed with the latest four-wheel-drive tech that lets it take on trails usually reserved for bigger rigs.

At 1/24 scale, the SCX24 Dodge Power Wagon measures a touch over 9-and-a-half inches long, which is compact when compared to 1/10-scale vehicles. Yet its trail crawling abilities are not to be underestimated thanks smooth oil-filled shocks and high-performance Pro-Line Impulse Bead-Loc wheels and Interco Super Swamper tires.

The front and rear solid axle truck also includes a steel C-channel chassis, a Dynamite 88T brushed electric motor that provides the right amount of torque, a full set of smooth-rolling ball bearings and a four-link rear suspension design which is optimized to reduce axle steer and torque twist.

Coming from Axial fully assembled, the Power Wagon’s capable chassis is topped with a molded ABS hard body in a custom four-door design that’s loaded with scale details. Included are an overlanding rack and accessories for added realism. The truck looks like it’s ready to take on the trails right out of the box.
