Venom Factory Pilot Bill Oxidean Breaks 8 World Records

Venom Team Driver Bill Oxidean broke eight world records this past weekend at the IMPBA Straight-line Time Trials hosted at Blue Lake in Valdosta, Georgia. Oxidean set new World Speed Records in every stock and super stock class offered. The weather was perfect for racing and the water calm and fast during the entire event. This allowed all participants to push themselves and their equipment to the limit. Oxidean quoted “ My new Venom batteries gave me the power to fend off any system of any brand, I felt like I was untouchable PERIOD.”

Oxidean set records in Super Stock Mono with a top speed of 35.030 mph, Stock Mono at 36.413 mph, Super Stock Hydro at 49.712 mph, Stock Hydro at 50.573 mph, Super Stock Sport Hydro at 45.948 mph, Stock Sport Hydro at
48.859 mph, Super Stock Tunnel at 34.986 mph and Stock Tunnel at 33.982 mph.

Venom Director of Sales & Marketing Keith Wallace commented, “This incredible showing proves not only the natural ability and driving skill of Bill Oxidean, but also the commitment Venom has put into providing the highest performance, most reliable batteries on the market. Furthermore, we are proud to be working with our Factory Pilots like Bill in our continued effort to push our products to the next level.”
