Axial SCX10 Jeep

Axial SCX10 Jeep

When Jeep named its flagship Jeep Wrangler Unlimited after one of the most grueling off-road trails in the country, they did it for good reason. The Rubicon Trail’s 22-mile-long route starts in Georgetown, CA, and takes you on through some of the most challenging parts of the El Dorado National Forest on the way to Loon Lake. From the trail’s opening obstacle that is rightfully called Devil’s Postpile to the famous Soup Bowl and Sluice Box, the Rubicon Trail demands the best of any vehicle that dares take it on. The JK’s long wheelbase and higher ride height are essential to surviving the journey and for this, it has become one of the most popular rigs for full-size off-roading. Axial, never one to follow the norm, took its SCX10 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon along with a full-size Rubicon, of course, to see how the 1/10 rig would measure up under some of the most demanding environments in North America.
