A squadron of tiny quadcopters: must-see video!

A squadron of tiny quadcopters: must-see video!

Picture this: a nano quadcopter that’s fast and agile. Then multiply it by 20, and imagine this tiny squadron flying in formation, performing tasks and doing aerobatic maneuvers–together. In a video from the GRASP Lab of the University of Pennsylvania, air vehicles developed by KMel Robotics put on an amazing show. I promise that this video will blow your mind!

  1. I m new to this innovation.
Does anyone know if there is a common name for these multi-propellar helicopter that amazon is starting to use for package deliveries?
Some magazines call them phantoms while others call them quadra…..which makes hard to search on net. Thanks

  2. Man! I can already see thousands of those things patrolling the city now. The govt is considering laws that allow drones to fly surveillance and such inside the USA now. I hadn’t thought of this kind of drone though. Just think how hard it would be to run and hide from these things.

    Thanks for the link!
