The 20th edition of the Reedy Touring Car Race of Champions is going on right now at the legendary Tamiya Raceway in Aliso Viejo, California and continues its reputation as one of the most prestigious and coveted events on the racing calendar for electric touring cars. Initially conceived and started by legendary motor guru Mike Reedy to celebrate his birthday, the event is highlighted by its unique racing format for the Invitational Class that includes some of the best drivers in the world. There’s nothing quite like watching these elite drivers duke it out over twelve rounds to establish an overall winner with everyone getting a chance to start from various spots on the grid.

Last year’s winner Ronald Volker/Yokomo put in a dominating performance to capture his 3rd title, but with drivers like Bruno Coelho/XRAY, Marc Rheinard/Infinity, and even Ryan Cavalieri/Team Associated with his home turf advantage, things are already shaping up for an amazing event. Stay tuned, this is going to be a good one.
