1/4 Main Odd
To say this week has been a challenge for the racers could possibly be the understatement of the year. Qualifying was both difficult and fierce leaving names like Cavalieri, Drake and Phend landing in the 1/4 Mains to start off their run for the championship. At the start of the 1/4 Main Odd race, 1/4 A bump up Barry Pettit got a great start from the 10 spot up to 6th leading his charge to finish 2nd behind winner Ryan Cavalieri. Cav also get a great start jumping into the lead early and staying up front for the majority of the race to take the top spot for bumps. Adam Drake had a topsy turvy race bouncing from 3rd off the start down to 11th and then up to 3rd, down to 8th in the first 10 minutes before climbing his way back up to 3rd where he’d hang on for the last 10 minutes of the race. Renaud Savoya had a disastrous start from the pole falling all the way to 9th before managing to work his way back into that ever important last bump up slot.
