2011 National Radio Control Truck Pulling Association World Championships Announced

2011 National Radio Control Truck Pulling Association World Championships Announced

The National Radio Control Truck Pulling Association will be hosting 2 events again this year at the Ramada Inn and Convention Center in Holiday City OH. The SPRING Nationals will be held April 29th – May 1st. The WORLDS will be held October 7th – 9th 2011. At last years WORLDS, seven members of the Netherlands Pulling Association made the trip across the Atlantic to compete. Martin Stouten won the first world Championship by an European. Arrangements are currently being made for more international involvement at the Worlds and other events overseas.

This hobby that once was primarily a Midwestern American hobby is now reaching out to international venues. We are hoping your company can “take the ride with us” to the Springs the Worlds and the future events overseas.

It is alot of fun and you meet alot of good people.Again thanks for the coverage it means alot…

  6. Thanks RCCA for sharing this information. There are not too many family-friendly events that draw such a large crowd housed under one roof. The pullers and racers are outstanding people who own some unbelievable equipment. If you like wild rides and insane competition be sure to find your way to the Spring Nationals and World Championships!

  7. I would just like to say that i always have a GREAT time at the Springs and the Worlds. Nothing like having fun with all your friends at the same time making new ones. Every one is very nice and helpful, always someone to help you out when you need it. One of the best clubs ever.

  8. for quite a while now we have had over 400 combined entries for racing and pulling……Friday night has drage racing and eleimination racing (much like the real events you see on TV) the rest of the weekend is 3 rounds of pulling to see of you either make the pulloff or quite a few rounds or side by side racing through digital timing systems over crushed cars and ramps…to crown a world champion….the concours Sat morning features the most scale appearing R/C vehicles east of anywere…….this will be the 23rd WORLDS event it is the longest running pulling and monster truck event in the world ….sleep and eat and race in the hotel or go across the street for an oustanding meal at the truck stop (very large portions and very economical too) greek cuisine featured anyways the most fun you can have with your pants on (ladies love the hotel and the amenities too so…..they do not mind coming)

  9. Good to see this information posted here. This is a very unique hobby/sport and the custom creations you’ll find at this event are amazing. It’s a great event to bring custom trucks or RTR vehicles and have a lot of fun competing with them. These competitions are like nothing else you’ll see. I look forward to these every year.

Veteran drivers and new drivers are all welcome and encouraged to come.

Big thanks to RCCA for putting this on their site.

  10. I am looking forward to returning to this event. It has been about 5 years I’ve been away and I miss the connections that are made with everyone throughout the sport of Monster Truck Racing and Tractor Pulling!

If you have never attended this event or the Spring fundraiser I encourage you to do so.

I miss seeing the write ups that were 4-6 pages long in the rcca mags!

  11. Wow great to see this up here on the site. Being able to race and pull under the same roof is awesome. Whats even more crazy is that you are able to stay in the same place that you compete as the event is held in a huge hotel. Looking forward to hearing more on this event.

  12. thanks for posting this we really appreciate it.

    1. Our pleasure, Joe
