This past weekend I was invited out to a pig roast, well… a pig race. No, we didn’t race pigs. This was an annual racing event held by Eliminator R/C Hobbies here in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Like every year, they have a weekend of racing and a pig roast. Hence, race for the pig. However, while it didn’t matter what place you got for racing, everyone was able to enjoy the food on Saturday. Everyone went home full and rested for the next day of racing.
Sunday, the day started out great with perfect weather and driver’s ready to go. It was a day full of great racing from everyone, and prizes to go around. It didn’t hurt to take home some trophie hardware and free stuff. I know I had fun, and my colleges did too. Everyone went home with something.
The event concluded with a award ceremony, more prize draws and a best paint body competition. Congratulations to all who won, and thank you to everyone involved that made the event another annual success.
