One Response to “Breaking in Your Nitro Engine”

Everything he says is good info BUT in the vid it seems like he starts getting into the powerband of that motor on the first tank of fuel and it even shifts into 2nd gear at one point . What about returning the piston to BDC after shutting the engine down ?

This is counter too every break in procedure I have read about or done and a newbie seeing this vid would think that its ok too run it that hard on the first tank .

NOT baggin on Chris in any way I am well aware of who he is , just saying the editing makes the vid look like its OK to run your R/C pretty hard on the first tank and I have seen newbies do that and then wonder why they need a new motor 3 gallons later .
