Believe it or not, underneath this truck is actually a Traxxas Stampede 4×4—but to say it’s been modified is an understatement. The Stampede chassis has been disassembled and dyed black. Mike Eichhorn built it, starting with swapping pretty much anything that could be changed out for RPM pieces, and installed custom body mounts to hold the classic Vaterra Chevy C10 body. He also customized a set of simulated headers and the mounts to hold the Pro-Line bumpers. PL also supplied the light bar. There’s a scale Warn winch that operated via remote, and there is a slipper clutch and pinion gear from Robinson Racing. Traxxas steel CVD axles beef up the four corners to hold the Integy shocks and track system that is this truck’s most dramatic feature.
