The Tamiya Bruiser is back!

The Tamiya Bruiser is back!

That’s right, the truck that has been sought after since it was discontinued is back and better than ever. This isn’t an exact replica of the truck however. It may look the same but after taking a look you’ll see that it has new axles that feature a new housing and a lockable differential. The original Bruiser had a straight axle with no differentials and one-way bearings in the front to allow it to turn better. Another change is in the power. The new truck uses a 540 size motor while the other had a large 750 size motor to make it go. The metal ladder type chassis retains the original layout but this time comes with a black-finished surface instead of the metal coating. Also included is a newly-designed die-cast transmission that uses planetary gears. The original transmission was shiftable but it didn’t do it very smoothly. This time Tamiya refined clutch mechanisms to offer smooth gear changes and superb durability. You can choose from 1st gear=4WD, 2nd & 3rd gears=Rear Wheel Drive. This is one truck that is sure to be at the top of many wish lists.
