Tamiya Clod Buster Time Machine [READER’S RIDE]

We’ve been on a retro kick lately, and Mike Lohmann’s Clod Buster shows exactly why these old-school rides can be so cool! Mike tells us this is a seriously old-school Clod Buster is one of several that he has done as he relives his youth by collecting all the parts he couldn’t afford back then. He started with a blue-anodized Sassy Chassis with a triple shock kit and classic Trinity blue anodized shocks. It’s also wearing custom machined aluminum ladder bars with an ESP Clodzilla Racing ladder bar brace. APM lower tube bumpers protect some of the running gear down low, which include APM steel gear sets, and JPS Pro racing aluminum gear boxes and axles. There’s an ESP Clodzilla Racing ball bearing steering bell crank, Custom Chrome parts battery holders, and Imex Puller tires on Sees Precision Machine Works aluminum wheels. Power comes from Astro Flight 12 turn pull master motors, and he tops off his time machine with Motion Graphics painted Ford body dated 6/90!
