Scott Hughes runs the new Axial XR10

From the December issue of  RC Car Action
RCCA: Where do you see rock crawling a few years from now?
SH: Good question. Rock crawling has been around for seven-plus years, but it really started with the Axial AX10. That’s when rock crawling as a true segment started. Where do we go from here? The XR10 is so much more capable than the original AX10. I hope over the next few years we see an influx of families.  Rock crawling is all about the people involved and not so much about the other stuff. With rock crawling you have the time to talk and hang out with people. At races there is so much going on you often don’t have time to socialize while racing. Crawling is a lot more relaxing, which will hopefully help it grow.
