It’s bar tread design provide consistent, predictable traction on many surfaces and the oversized outer dust ring helps clear the way so the tread can generate grip on dusty surfaces. (WARNING: If you race on a damp or very low just track we’ve found that removing the dust ring generates much more side bite.)
