PROTOform Announces First GT12 Design, New VRS-N 200mm Shell & Lightweight World GT Bodies

PROTOform has a few new ways to hit the road (or carpet, as the case may be), with two new designs and “lightweight” (thinner Lexan) versions of a popular pair of World GT bodies. First up, the PFM12, which looks like it’s 1/10 but is actually for 1/12 cars (look at the deep-dish rear wheels–now you can tell it’s 1/12 scale.) The class is big in the UK (Schumacher even offers a dedicated GT12 car kit) and it looks like a fun alternative to the usual 1/12 flying wedges. Next up, the VRS-N, a 200mm nitro-touring design that PROTOform says is “designed to slot in between the handling characteristics of the IFMAR World Title-Winning P37-N and the game-changing SRS-N that’s been used in Title-Winning efforts in ROAREFRA and ENS competition.” Finally, we have the Sophia and Gianna World GT bodies, which are not bew shapes but are newly offered in lightweight .025″ Lexan, for you fast guys who never hit the boards.
