RCX 2010 was bigger, badder and better than ever as thousands of RC and enthusiasts were blown away by the show's raw energy and power. With a sold-out show floor featuring many new exhibitors, RCX had all the pulse-pounding action, head-to-head racing, and aerobatic stunts an RC fanatic could want, plus exclusive first looks at new models, industry legends, and hyper-detailed show cars and customs for the diecast enthusiasts. Wherever you looked, indoors or out, the event was jammed with excitement.
The SEMA Show is the premier automotive specialty products trade event in the world. It draws the industry’s brightest minds and hottest products to one place, the Las Vegas Convention Center. SEMA Show 2009 drew more than 50,000 domestic and international buyers. The displays are segmented into 12 sections, and a New Products Showcase featured nearly 1,500 newly introduced parts, tools and components.
The International Toy Fair is the world’s leading fair for toys, hobby and leisure-time articles. The fair, which is open exclusively to the specialist trade, was held in Nurnberg Germany on February 3-8, 2011. The presentation of new products and comprehensive overview of the industry which it provides are an indispensable source of information for annual market orientation.
Since its launch in 2003, RCX has expanded to over 200,000 square feet of the Pomona Fairplex, home to the Los Angeles County Fair. RCX now includes three exciting shows in one location: RCX, Model Airplane News Expo and the International DieCast X Collector’s Expo. The Axial West Coast Championship [AWCC] is an annual event where radio controlled hobby enthusiast gather, specifically those interested in the sport of competition rock crawling. While the event is both timed, scored and awarded first through third place for three different classes, this event is more of a festival where the whole family is invited. The AWCC event is held in the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains at the Cisco Grove Camp Grounds nestled in the Donner Summit. The AWCC takes over the 406-site campground as many of the AWCC competitors make this a vacation, coming early bringing off road vehicles exploring the campgrounds OHV trail access to adventure.
The 2011 Nitro Challenge took place at The Nitro Pit track located in Wittmann Arizona. If your not sure what The Nitro Pit is, it's one of the largest off-road tracks in the entire USA. The racing field consisted of drivers from all over the USA as well as an international crowd with drivers hailing from the United Kingdom, Finland, Spain, and Sweden.
The Traxxas TORC series tears up the Big House in Crandon, Wisconsin during the Labor Day weekend. It was amazing in-spite the fact that rain fell on all three days causing delays and schedule changes. Although through it all, the spectators filled the Crandon hillside to watch 106 Sportsman and 42 PRO off-road racers.

The 26th Annual Cactus Classic kicked off in Scottsdale, AZ at SRS Raceway. The weather couldn't have been any better at a sunny 80 degrees with a slight breeze to help keep cool. SRS is an outdoor track that is typically ran wet during the year, but for the Cactus race they run it dry and let it "groove" up.Between high track temperatures and plenty of consistent drivers, the groove comes in rather quick. The layout consisted of many peaky jumps with a risk-reward rhythm section that make for great racing.
Crandon may be the 2nd to last race of the season for the Traxxas TORC Series, but it's what you might consider the Daytona 500 of off-road racing. With two days of racing as well as the Amsoil Cup race all jammed into one weekend, Crandon is the perfect opportunity for racers to lock up points leads and take the championship in one swift blow to the competition. Winning an Amsoil Cup trophy means that your name is forever engraved into the most historic trophy for off-roaders, the Stanley Cup of their segment if you will. The track is incredible and its no wonder it's called "The Big House" with sky jumps abound and drop offs that hurl trucks 200+ feet while dropping them nearly 3 stories down to the track below. To win at Crandon is an honor every off-road racer dreams of, to take the Amsoil Cup is something only the best of the best will ever do in their lifetimes.
