Corally Wins ROAR Carpet On-Road Nats

Team Corally’s Chris Tosolini gives a victory salute (and a great plug for Airtronics) after winning Touring Mod at the ROAR Carpet Nats, held at West Haven CT’s Hobby Chamber. The event also saw victories for Team Trinity/XRAY’s Mike Dumas in 19T Touring, and the first-ever win for a brushless system at a ROAR nats as Team Associated’s Jon Orr won 1/12 Mod using an LRP Sphere and Reedy NEO-1 brushless combo.

Ryan Cavalieri nabbed second, and Jared Tebo took third, all wheeling Factory Team T4’s. Tebo won the Factory Gas Truck class to no one’s surprise, but he did have to work a little harder than normal to pass teammates Ryan Cavalieri and Maifield for the win. Cavalieri TQ’d gas truck, but unfortunately was out of the race with mechanical trouble for the final 20 minutes of the 45-minute A-Main.
