From Maclan Racing:

Not a relabel, and no overstatements!

The Maclan Racing MMax Pro 160A competition ESC is THE next generation competition ESC for 1/10 RC car racing. The MMax Pro was developed from the ground up with 18+ months of R&D efforts by Maclan Racing. We had only one goal in mind: simply, to be faster than anything in the market.

32-bit High Speed CPU for a Re-defined Performance

The MMax Pro ESC was designed with an ultra-high performance 32-bit CPU as its central processing brain. Compared to the last generation 8-bit CPU’s which power every other ESC on the market, the 32-bit CPU in the MMax Pro ESC runs at much higher clock speed and bandwidth. With more memory and USB connectivity, this ESC features next generation performance…today.

All-new Algorithm for the Best Throttle and Braking

The MMAX utilizes not only the latest and fastest hardware. It also has a completely redesigned all-new algorithm firmware to maximize its strength over competitors. It precisely calculates PWM signals to outperform all existing competitors with the smoothest throttle and the strongest yet precise braking. The adjustable throttle and brake PWM frequencies pair with the most advanced hardware and software to make this MMAX ESC on the top.

On Board Micro USB

The MMax Pro is the first surface competition ESC with an integrated micro USB port. Ever. This dedicated USB port allows you to connect to Maclan Racing ProLink programming card, OR you may directly connect the ESC to a Windows PC for both programming and firmware updating. This USB port also allows great flexibility going forward, making sure the MMax ESC will be outperforming the competition long into the future.

12 Preload Profiles

The MMax ESC has 12 factory pre-loaded profiles for all on-road and off-road applications. That covers super competitive “blinky” stock racing, full-power low-turn modified racing, awesome drifting action, and even crawler applications. Each profile also allows you to fine tune all parameters for different track conditions. With ProLink (sold separately), you can reset each individual profile back to factory default.

High Efficiency Cooling

The MMax Pro ESC uses full aluminum case design with an omnidirectional heat sink. With the high voltage Maclan Racing turbo fan as standard equipment, the already exceptionally efficient hardware and software package gets all the extra cooling you could need.

High Performance BEC

The MMax Pro ESC has a built in linear mode, high performance BEC. The system allows you to set the BEC voltage from 6.0V to 7.4V in 0.1V increments, and provides up to a 4A of current. This super-powered BEC circuitry will support nearly every surface servo on the market.

MS Windows Compatible Software

With the dedicated USB port, the MMax Pro ESC is able to connect to MS Windows PC’s for ESC programming, firmware updating and data logging.

Data Logging

The powerful MMax Pro ESC features a data logging function that records temperature, voltage, RPM and run time. You can review the data by connecting the ESC to the ProLink (sold separately) or PC.
