Super Scale Wheely King “Unglewd”
Project “Unglewd” started life as a Wheely King and all that is left is the transmission and the axles that now have Maximizer diff lockers installed. The chassis is based on Jowetts Kustom RC 16’5” crawler frame rails and the roll cage was fabricated by Kevin out of 3/16 steel tube and built to fit inside the HPI Ford Bronco body. Axial Rockster beadlock wheels squeeze a set of Axial Rock Lizards tires that are powered by a Novak Rooster Crawler speed control and a 55-turn Integy lathe motor. Extras that add to its scale appearance are the one-off decals, Wild Willy driver figure, winch, nitrous bottle and fuel cell. READ MORE»

Testing The P-51 Mustang Mk II PTS RTF
I just got back from a test session with the Hangar-9 P-51 Mustang Mk II PTS RTF and it was a blast. It was a very stable flyer and I had a ton of fun. Model Airplane News Editors Gerry Yarrish and Klaus Ronge were there as well. In the picture below you can see the buddy cable that connected my transmitter to Klaus's transmitter. With the flip of a switch he can take control of the plane incase there was an incident. I had no trouble flying this bird. Read the full review in the April 2009 Issue of Model Airplane News.
