WORLDS: Young Davide Ongaro of Mugen Turns Heads

For most racers, just attending an IFMAR Worlds is a dream come true, but 15-year-old, Italian, Mugen driver Davide Ongaro is not only enjoying the event, but doing well and putting a good bit of fear in to many seasoned veterans. His event started out great, and throughout practice he challenged the best drivers and even posted the best three consecutive laps in Day 3, Round 1 when drivers were trying to sort out their buggy and place high up in seeding. But, he wasn’t done yet and is currently showing strong results with his Mugen MBX7R as the event progresses and posted a 3rd overall in Round 2 of qualifying.
