Either Associated Will Have a New Buggy Soon, Or They’re Seriously Trolling Us

Could this be a B5.1M? Or even a B6? Whatever it is, Team Associated has NOT been shy about blasting out pics of the prototype on their Facebook page, which we’ve collected here for your viewing pleasure. What began as a tease for a new laydown transmission has become an entire car. Whatever becomes of this design, we can confidently say the actual car will be molded in black plastic, or at the very least, “not clear” plastic. The translucent stuff you see here is “SLA,” shorthand for the technology used to create it: StereoLithographic Apparatus, a form of 3D printing.

What? When? How much? Time will tell.
