You’ve got to respect a woman who CAD-designs her own custom monster truck chassis! That’s just what Danielle Colen did with her custom Clod Buster. She loosely based the chassis design after Tom Meents’ Maximum Destruction truck, then had the parts machined and powdercoated. She bolted on stock SCX10 shocks to mounts from Crawford Performance Engineering. Crawford also supplied the steering kit and a bunch of scale items like the engine and fuel cell. She chopped down an interior from an Axial Wraith to fit. Stock Clodbuster rims have RC4WD wheel wideners to hold a set of their monster tires. Spinning them is a dual set of Leopard Toro brushless 9-turn motors on 2S LiPos. The body is from the Tamiya Agrios, with a paint scheme patterned after a Chevy trophy truck. Its not just a looker either — Danielle races it in the Michigan Monsters of RC series!
