OFNA was one of the first brands to launch a 4WD electric short course truck with the Hyper 10SC, which earned instant street cred as one of the best racing vehicles of its day. They’re trying to do it again, going toe-to-toe with Team Associated’s SC8 with a new nitro-powered RTR complete with a .32 engine and genuine Savox servos, 17mm big bore shocks, and suspension derived from their race-winning buggies.
The Hyper 8SC is a large nitro powered 1/8 scale remote controlled 4WD short course race truck with an assemble and ready to race chassis. Power comes from the super reliable big block Force .32 cubic inch high torque nitro engine that includes an easy start pull unit. The 2.4Ghz radio system controls two Savox high torque metal gear servos for steering and throttle/brake. Rough terrain is handled by independent long travel front and rear race suspension that includes large 17mm bore aluminum oil filled racing shocks with threaded spring adjusters for easy ride height adjustments. Dual front and rear disc brakes have an easy to adjust bias control knob to change handling characteristics under braking. Quick fill fuel tank, tuned polish aluminum race pipe, three (front/center/rear) gear differentials, inclosed receiver/battery compartment, aluminum CNC chassis and shock towers are just a few of the great features that put this truck ahead of its class.
