Associated’s new rally machine is based on the Qualifier Series ProLite 4X4, which makes it a well-equipped RTR. Reedy brushless power is standard, a 7-cell NiMH Reedy Wolf Pack is included, and Associated has added a few details to separate the ProRally from the ProLite. There’s the body, of course (duh), along with a new rally-spec wheel and tire combo. New chassis features include an adjustable-height front bumper, and a trick rear diffuser. To color schemes are offered, both with Rockstar livery. Expect a street price around $380 with a 2.4GHz radio system. Expect a review as soon as we can get a runner!
Hmmm, which color combo do you like better? Both are cool, but black wins. No, white. Or black.
Love the diffuser. Not sure how much aero is actually happening back there, but it looks rad.
The ProRally’s chassis is ruggedly built with metal gears and enclosed shaft drive, ideal for all-around fun driving. Water-resistant electronics too.
The Reedy XP SC900BL speed control is rated for a 3S LiPo if you want more juice.
Spin comes from a Reedy 550-SL 3500KV sensorless motor. Plenty of torque here.
