Hobby Pro USA’s PRS1 buggy, which we reviewed back in our January issue, not only received an update for the 2014 season but is now available as a rolling chassis, the first in a new “Pro-Built” lineup of vehicles – which makes this 2WD offroad racer one of the few chances you may ever have to own a vehicle expertly constructed by a national champion. Here’s what Hobby Pro USA has to say about the new factory ride.

Hobby Pro USA is proud to announce our latest innovative idea and product for the racing market. Now available through Hobby Pro USA is our *PRO BUILT* (ARTR) Hobby Pro Vehicles. Our *PRO BUILT* vehicles are precision built by our in-house Pros with dedicated care and precision. (ARTR = Almost Ready To Run) Each vehicle will be available to order in Rear Motor or Mid Motor Configuration. The Pro Builder will engrave their signature and serial # on each *PRO BUILT* vehicle along with a hand completed setup sheet. Factory Team starting setups will be installed throughout all vehicles using the finest oils and materials. Our goal is to provide the very best quality racing vehicle for all of our dealers and consumers for competition use. Our new *PRO BUILT* vehicles offer a complete ready to race rolling chassis that has been precision built right here in the United States.

*This product is a built kit only. Consumer will still require, Motor, esc, Transmitter, Receiver, Battery and Steering servo to operate.

HP Pro Builder Andrew Smolnik: “Bloody Knuckles, bring it on! I’ve built many, many r/c cars of all shapes and sizes for both competition and extreme play. It’s my pleasure and privilege to take part in Hobby Pro USA’s *PRO-BUILT* ARTR race vehicles program.”

Associate Editor Since receiving my first hobby-grade RC car as a holiday present from my father nearly 20 years ago, I've been fortunate enough to meet more people and experience more opportunities through the adventures I've had in the RC industry than I would've ever imagined. I've done it all - from working at a hobby shop, to being a factory sponsored racer, to working for some of the biggest brands in the industry. I've enjoyed each and every one of the dozens of kits I've built, hundreds of events I've attended, and thousands of laps that I've logged at race tracks around the world, and my passion is to share those experiences with other hobbyists so that they may find fulfillment in their own RC careers.
