Traxxas Updates the 100MPH XO-1

Dec 31, 2013 No Comments by

The industry’s original (and so far, only) 100mph RTR has received a styling refresh (the original release had no graphics) and now arrives without batteries, which knocks a chunk out of the price. No changes to the specs, which means you’re looking at 6S-rated Castle Creations power, shaft-driven 4WD, functional aero, and Traxxas’ unique TQi transmitter with Docking Base that connects to your iPhone or iPod touch to serve as a graphic interface for the radio system. For a look at all the XO-1′s features (there’s a ton), click here.

I've been involved in RC for over 25 years, and first joined Air Age Media in 1997. I served as Executive Editor until 2008, when I went to work on the manufacturing side of the RC biz. Now back at RC Car Action, I'm thrilled to be doing what I love most--not just enjoying RC, but sharing it with all of you. In addition to RC, I enjoy spending time with my beautiful wife Kathleen and our wonderful daughter Audrey.
