Short course truck racing hit the RC scene so quickly that it shook up many of the other electric off-road classes, with stadium truck taking the strongest hit. The future of the original “truck” division looked grim for a few seasons before manufacturers started releasing new products for the class, which always breathes new life into any segment. Rumors of Kyosho’s RB6-based stadium truck racer were confirmed earlier this year as we watched Jared Tebo campaign a prototype at several events, including his big win at the ROAR National Championship, and Kyosho has now released photos of the upcoming production model that should be here in time for the holidays. The design nods to the RB6 are apparent, with a narrow chassis platform and the ability to be run in either rear- or mid-motor configuration.
