Futaba Telemetry Radio

Futaba’s popular 4PL radio has now been updated with a telemetry system. This system will allow you to monitor your car’s engine temperature and rpm, along with your battery’s voltage remotely from your radio. Plus you can log your results and compare it to future runs to gain even more knowledge about the performance of your vehicle. Here is the full press release:

With the 4PLS, modelers can enjoy the benefits of telemetry in two ways. Temperature, voltages and rpm can be monitored in real-time AND logged for future reference. Even better, these advantages are included in the 4PLS for the same price as the original 4PL! The Futaba 4PL is the only 4-channel 2.4GHz FHSS surface system that’s been awarded the coveted “Basher Seal of Approval” from BigSquidRC.com. The 4PLS offers the same value and durability, and adds to an already impressive list of high-end racing features.

Features:

  • T-FHSS (telemetry), FHSS and S-FHSS transmission modes
  • Telemetry for temperature, rpm, receiver voltage and external voltage
