The RC racing version of silly season is upon us, with manufacturers scrambling to secure drivers for this year’s full calendar of races. One name staying put with a longtime sponsor is former IFMAR World Champion Neil Cragg, according to the Team Associated press release below:

Team Associated is proud to announce that their 2005 2WD IFMAR World Champion Neil Cragg has re-signed to a multi-year deal. A driver with Team Associated since 1997, Cragg has won six EFRA Championships between 1:10 2WD and 4WD Buggy and 11 BRCA National Championships among 1:10 2WD and 4WD Buggy and 1:8 gas buggy with Team Associated vehicles.

For 2013, Cragg returns to his heritage and will use Reedy Sonic brushless motors and batteries to power his Factory Team B4.1, C4.1 and B44.2. Cragg will also continue his relationship with LRP using their gas engines, speed controls and chargers.

All of us here at Team Associated and Reedy are excited to continue working with the Cragg family and look forward to many more years of success together.
