DRIVEN: Team Associated’s new ProLite 4×4 Short Course Truck!

Team Associated kicked off its Qualifier Series of sport-level RTRs with the ProLite 4×4, a new-from-the-ground-up, shaft-driven fender banger powered by the awesome Associated XPSC1200 ESC and Reedy 550-SL brushless motor also found in the SC10 4×4. The ProLite 4×4 was built to provide a fun, sporty, and budget-friendly introduction to RC and the world of 4×4 short course racing by emphasizing durability and simplicity, from its beefy suspension components to intuitive 2.4GHz radio; it’s Team Associated’s most entry-level release yet, providing incoming hobbyists a gateway to radio control that’s at home in the backyard or at the local race track.

Associate Editor Aaron Waldron spent the day at Team Associated’s secret test track driving the new ProLite 4×4 and talking with its designer, Josh Anderson, about the features of the new truck. Check it out here:
