Pit Tips: Fluffed Foam [September 2012]

Tire foam inserts have a tendency to come out of the package with a crease in them. I have found that putting them in the dryer for a few minutes gets rid of the creases, and gets them back to their original shape. It also makes trimming them easier, too.

    Also, does this apply to all types of foam? Or, do closed cell inserts benefit more from this over regular foam inserts, or vise versa?
