Homemade Petrbilt Show Truck: This may look like a Tamiya King Hauler, but it’s much smaller.  This 1/25-sized semi started out its life as a Revell plastic model kit, but Karl was soon stretching the hood and sleeper to make it look more like a Peterbilt 389 EX.  He fabricated a chassis out of brass tubing with brass leaf spring suspension to support the body and Xmod steering, axels and motors to power this itty bitty convoy.  Under the hood he used a pair of Xmod motors for plenty of torque powered by a Traxxas XL-5 ESC and controlled by a HobbyKing radio and Turnigy micro servos.  The entire system runs on a 2S 2200mAh LiPo. Keep on truckin’, Karl!
