We take the CRF World Champion Engine technology to the next level: With the B321, B521, T522 Racing and Factory Team power plants we introduce a complete range of new engines. The world champion CRF engine has gotten even better. Throughout 2011 our team has been busy improving the CRF engine and the 2012 Factory Team engines are the result.
Thanks to small reinforcements and structural changes at several locations the engine’s new crankcase is more stiff in extreme high temperature situations. Like this the driving characteristics are constant during the whole race and the engine delivers maximum power even at hottest conditions.
To further improve the top speed of the engines we improved the crankshaft design. The SG type crankshaft with advanced, patented CRF technology is now even lighter allowing the engine to rev up even more.
New Piston Liner
Thanks to new material used for the piston we were able to tease even more power out of the engines made at Italy’s premium power plant manufacturer under the lead of CRF project manager Adrien Bertin. The new material is more strong as well, ensuring best reliability for toughest racing.
New heat sink
The new heat sink has a different hole configuration. Groups of smaller holes combined with milled areas provide even better heat dissipation at an extremely low weight.
The new engine construction results in better mileage which gives you the extra advantage over the competition. You need less pit stops and you stay more flexible for your racing strategy.
Hand made tuning, high grade components
We only use the best machines, latest materials and quality components and combine it with hand made tuning for the Factory Team engines!
We have completely reorganised our engines line-up. There are two Factory Team engines with hand-made tuning and ceramic ball bearings and one Racing Team engine with some reduced specs at a great price!
