No-Spill Tank Maintenance: If you have to remove your fuel tank in the pits to make a quick repair on your vehicle and you don’t want to drain the fuel from the tank, attach one end of a fuel line to the pressure-line pick-up and the other to the fuel pick-up.  This will seal the tank and prevent fuel from spilling out while you work on your rig.

    I’Ve been in the hobby 5 years and have always done this it works and dont have to worry about a mess or draining the fuel tank.
