Off Road EXPO in Pomona, CA

Being that I’m an off-road enthusiast, every year I make it a priority to attend the Off Road EXPO in Pomona, CA. Why? It’s not all too often I get the kid in the candy store experience and this EXPO certainly fulfills that need thanks to all the vendors that show up showcasing project vehicles, new products and the never ending line of off-road rigs that inspires the imagination.  The Off Road EXPO has been going on for over a decade  and during its existence there has been a progressive growth in the overall size and activities offered. There’s endless rows of off-road vehicles ranging from desert Trophy Trucks fresh from the circuit, Jeeps and trucks built for weekend four-wheeling adventures, pre-runners, quads, and the list goes on. Also on site were three of the major contenders in the RC market: Team Associated, Losi and HPI racing. Throughout the EXPO they held demo’s, ran try-me tracks, and had product on site for sale. Within the RC field, the real eye catcher was the recently introduced Losi 5ive-T. It was quite an experience to watch, especially when they ran the truck on the larger demo track where full-size trophy trucks got to showcase their abilities.
