Hot Rod Raceway Driver Appreciation Race: Chad Bradley Wins

Hot Rod Raceway in Santa Clarita CA. held their 2nd Driver Appreciation Race with discounted race entry fees as well as a free dinner. Hot Rod Hobbies holds their driver appreciation club race every first Friday of the month. The Pro 4 SC class had 16 drivers in attendance with a total of 80-90 entries Fri. night. Chad Bradley driving the Nexx10SC set the TQ time in both rounds of qualifying with Stephen Bess from RC Car Action putting his 4wd SC in the second position after qualifying. A few heats before the Pro 4 SC main, both Bess and Bradley had a hard fought 1:8 nitro main, so the Pro 4 main looked to be another good battle. Bess challenged Chad for the first few minutes of the Pro 4 main till a mistake by Bess either over a jump or corner allowed Chad to pull to a comfortable lead and eventually the win in the 8 minute main event.

Chad said this was one of best nights that his Nexx10SC felt; he said he was able to drive it extremely hard, throwing it into the corners “It was just real fun to drive, very fast in and out of the corners” Chad said.
