On September 3 and 4, the Traxxas TORC series will be at Crandon International Raceway in Crandon, WI for rounds nine and 10 of the 2011 season. Crandon is famously known as the big house and it is aptly nicknamed as the track is huge and the trucks very extremely high speeds. When the TORC drivers visited early in the year, they were only able to get one round in, round 3. Round 4 was cancelled due to heavy rains. Johnny Greaves won the PRO 4X4 class, Rob MacCachren took the win in PRO 2WD and Traxxas’ own Andrew Caddell came in first in the PRO LIGHT class.

About the authorAbout Matt:I think it’s safe to say I’ve done a little bit of everything in RC. That said, I predominately race off-road and my current passion is short course. One of my all-time favorite classes is oval carpet racing. Besides racing, I can often be found working on one of my many never-complete projects, and it seems I have an ever growing collection of rock crawlers—specifically scale crawlers.
