Tamiya Vajra 4WD Racing Truck

Tamiya Vajra 4WD Racing Truck

This is an electric R/C assembly kit of a 4WD racing truck. The main chassis platform is a 15mm longer wheelbase version of the basic chassis of Ite 58489 Avante (2011) and is matched with 100mm diameter V-pattern block tires. The truck uses a new 2.0mm thick carbon fiber lower & upper deck. Its longer wheelbase (275mm) provides increased stability during high-speed offroad driving. The aluminum and metal trailing arm suspension from the Avante has been replaced with durable plastic suspension, as seen in the Vanquish kit (item 58076), for the Vajra.

  1. I want a Vaj! It would be my first….R/C…

  2. The Vajra is a nice looking machine, but it’s way overpriced and why oh why isn’t it Brushless? It seems tamiya are really missing a trick here. For £400+ GBP it should be brushless.

It’s one for the Bling Boys I think this one. I think performance will be disappointing with the 25 turn motor in it. For something so well built you’d expect top end performance.
