JConcepts Summer Indoor Nationals: Viper RC Wins Mod Truck, 17.5 SC And 2WD Buggy, 1/8 Electric Buggy

Over the past weekend some of the nation’s best drivers made their way to Outback Raceway for the JConcepts Summer Indoor Nationals. Amongst those drivers were several of Viper R/C’s very own team drivers.

Race conditions were nearing one hundred degrees, drivers and equipment were being pushed to their limits, and the Viper VTX power systems performed flawlessly.

Eddie Bernal took 1st place in Mod Truck running a VTX10 and VST 7.5T, Nate Lavery finished 2nd place in 17.5 2wd SC and 17.5 2wd buggy running the VTX10 esc and VST 17.5 motor, and Rick Jenkins took 2nd in 1/8e buggy running the prototype VSE 2050kv motor, narrowly beating 3rd position in an exciting drag race to the line.

While Viper may be a newer company in the industry, their race inspired line of products is proving to be a reckoning force on the track. With the introduction of their new VST-XL 550 Short Course motors and VSE 1/8 motors, expect to see more of Viper on the top steps of the podium in the near future!
