Short Course Showdown Nationwide Series: Day 3 of Round 2

Round 2 of the 2011 Short Course Showdown Nationwide Series is officially in the books now, and it was exciting event that featured 165 SC entries.  Race director Scotty Ernst ran a great race program and made sure the races got done on time and entertained the large crowds that gathered around the track.

The racers and spectators were treated with a plethora of door prizes donated by the Showdown’s awesome sponsors and everyone walked away with something this weekend.  And as a bonus the A main finalists for the Stock Spec Slash class all qualified for a special drawing, and one lucky driver walked away with a new Traxxas RTR Nitro Slayer Pro 4X4 SC.

 Team Losi Racing swept both modified classes with top qualifier Dustin Evans leading the way, and in the Stock SC Class TLR driver Brian Lutz fought off Luke Richards and top qualifier John Schultz to take the win.  Here are the top 3 finishers for each A Main:

  2. Trevor “Chilly” Duncan

2WD Stock

2WD Modified
