2011 Short Course Showdown: Losi XXX-SCB Exhibition Race

Jun 19, 2011 2 Comments by

Once the A mains were calculated today, each TQ from the 5 classes these weekend competed in an exhibition race featuring the new Losi RTR XXX-SCB.  TLR’s Dustin Evans TQ’ed both Mod 2WD and 4WD SC so they had Matt Sunderlage fill in for him to pilot one of the SCBs.

These buggies come with a 12t 550 mod motor and they look super-fast on the track.  Sportsman TQ Thomas Kreuser filled the pole position for this special race and got off to an early lead.  Just over 2 minutes into the race he clipped the outer wall of the sweeper and knocked his SCB out of commission.  But HPI’s John Schultz, who TQed Stock SC, gave Thomas his radio so he could wheel John’s buggy.  Thomas was able to battle his way back to the top and take the win.
