LCRC “The Big One” Memorial Day Weekend Race: JConcepts Wins 1/8 Buggy And Truggy

May 30, 2011 No Comments by

This past weekend LCRC in Oakland Mills PA held their Memorial Day weekend race called “The Big One”. Despite rains on and off all week the track held up great and ended up being a nice Blue Groove for the huge crowd of racers with 90 degree and sunny weather all weekend.

With 3 rounds of qualifying on Saturday and a 4th round on Sunday there was a lot of track time for all. Sunday afternoon saw the mains and it was JConcepts driver Jamie Grayek who was able to take the 1:8 Buggy and Truggy class victory. With stiff competition from Associated driver Mike Gay and Losi’s Anthony Mazzara, Jamie’s JConcepts Sevens on his Truggy and Subcultures on his Buggy helped carry him to victory.
