Jan 21, 2011 No Comments by

This past weekend Phil Hurd Raceway in Savannah GA held their annual Coloniel’s Classic Race. Saturday morning started off chilly with a nice layer of frost on the track surface, as the day progressed, the air warmed and the track got faster with the racing being intense.

For Pro Truggy, JConcepts driver Josh Hollifield took 3rd place after a cold 30 min main under the lights. Josh ran Blue Compound Sevens with rulux wheels on his Mugen MBX6T. Team mate Jason Smith took the win running green compound Subcultures. Barry Pettit took the TQ but some mechanical issues during the Main dropped him back to finish 6th. Barry ran JConcepts Sevens.

In the Pro Buggy class JConcepts Driver Barry Pettit finished 3rd in the A main with JConcepts Driver Jason Smith taking the second spot. Young Chandler Elliot took the TQ in the Open Buggy Class.
