Latest driver news from A Main Hobbies:

A Main Hobbies has announced that they have signed Chad Bradley to the 2011 A Main Hobbies Race Team. Chad’s main sponsors will be A Main Hobbies and ProTek R/C and his chassis sponsor will be JQ Products.

One of the most respected and liked drivers in the 1/8th Off Road buggy class, Chad Bradley was the 2001 ROAR 1/8 Buggy National Champion and has been at the top of the class since that win. Chad started in radio control over 20 years ago when his dad purchased him his first vehicle, a Tamiya truck back in 1989 and they began racing occasionally, but really got into racing in 1992. Chad’s resume of wins include some of the biggest races held in the United States and around the World.

  • 2001 Roar Nitro 1/8 Buggy Off Road National Champion
  • 4 time “The Dirt” Nitro Challenge Champion
  • 3 time Silver State Nitro Challenge Champion
  • 3 time IFMAR Worlds 1/8 Off Road Buggy A-Finalist
  • 2 time Pro-Line SoCal Series Winner
  • 5 time Canadian Winter Champs and Indoor National Winner
  • 2 time Nitro Feast Winner
  • 3 time US Gas Champs Winner

With the increased popularity in 4WD Short Course racing, Chad focused his talents in this new and expanding arena and once again proved that he was a force to be reckoned with. Chad not only won the races below he set the pace as the TQ in some of the most highly contested races on the West Coast.

  • TQ & 1st Place – Team Novak Presents the 1st annual Short Course Race at West Coast Raceway
  • TQ & 1st Place – 2010 Silver State Pro 4wd Short Course
  • Overall Champion – 2010 JBRL Electric Series (Unlimited Short Course)

When asked how he liked driving the Short Course trucks, Chad replied, “I’ve been having a blast racing these trucks and I honestly believe it’s been helping my driving in the 1:8 nitro classes as well.”

In the upcoming 2011 race season Chad will be driving the JQ Products “THE Car”, powered by O.S. Engines, ProTek R/C batteries and bearings, Airtronics radio and servos, Pro-Line tires, Werks fuel, and Upgrade R/C decals. For Chad’s electric classes he will use Novak Electronics speed controls and motors in his Jammin SCRT-10 4WD Short Course Truck. His goals for 2011 are to promote AMainHobbies.com, JQ Products and all his other sponsors to the best of his abilities, provide race support to customers and teammates and to share his knowledge of R/C with other racers to help stimulate and grow this exciting industry. But just as important is his desire to be in contention for wins and prepare for 2012 IFMAR World Championships.
